Use this as a guide to locate your serial number stamped into your castings

This engine #1539 not only has the serial # stamped into
the brass tag as seen on the left photo,
but also has the # stamped into the engine
head casting.  See above arrows  pointing to location on
top/center of engine head. Some serial numbers
have been located on the flywheel and others
on the end of the main flywheel shaft.
